Fees & Insurance
I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation for new clients looking to see if we would be a good fit!
A typical therapy session runs 50 minutes long and is $175. For those who are unable to afford $175 per session, I do offer a sliding scale fee. You will be responsible for the agreed-upon fee at the time of service.
I currently accept Optum/United Healthcare and Aetna. For all other insurance plans, I am an out-of-network provider. If you would like for your insurance to cover your sessions, I am more than happy to provide a super-bill so that you can be reimbursed.
Each person has their own unique financial situation. If cost is prohibiting you from seeking therapy, please don’t hesitate to contact me to figure out your options.
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a health insurance plan or are not seeking to file a claim with their plan/coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling their services, to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Your health care provider will give you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your scheduled medical service. You can also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
